1926 Marriage of Aniela Kwiatek and Mieczysław Jankowski in Sosnowiec, Poland
My great-grandmother Marianna Kasprzyk Skrok Kwiatek, her husband Andrzej Kwiatek, and their children Julia, Aniela, Leon, and baby Zofia Kwiatek left Buffalo and returned to Poland in 1921. I wrote They Returned to Poland.
After World War II, my maternal grandfather’s half-sister Aniela Kwiatek Jankowska wrote to Buffalo, New York, hoping to re-connect with family. The letter was found in my grandmother’s papers after her death, and I wrote about the 1947 Letter from Family in Poland.
